Chapter Relations Council

The Chapter Relations Council (CRC) is the committee that oversees the functioning of each of the chapters in the Law Society, both professional chapters and student chapters. Chapters are organized into Areas, with an Area Director and Assistant Area Director. The Areas are organized into Regions, with a Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director. Communication and guidance flows from the International Chair and Operations Committee through the CRC to the chapters by means of the Regional and Area Directors. Communication and reports from the chapters are sent through the Area and Regional directors to the Operations Committee and International Chair.

The CRC is charged with assisting with chapter leadership and changes in chapter leadership. Each year chapters may be awarded the “Outstanding Chapter Award” or the “Quality Chapter Award” for meeting organizational, program and service goals.
