J. Reuben Clark Law Society
California San Joaquin Fresno Chapter
The San Joaquin Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society includes much of the Central Valley of California, including the cities of Fresno, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford and Porterville.  The chapter was organized in 2000.  Warren Gubler, currently serving as the mayor of Visalia was the first chapter chair. 

The chapter typically holds meetings during the lunch hour on a quarterly basis.  Our speakers have included Judge Clay Smith, Orange County Superior Court;  Joseph Bentley, past International Chair of the JRLCS and an LDS scholar; Ashley Swearingen and Lee Brand, both mayors of the City of Fresno; Henry R. Perea, Fresno City Council and Fresno County Board of Supervisors; Richard Bretzing, former Special Agent with the FBI and former Director of Church Security, Steve Cleveland, BYU and Fresno State basketball coach; Don Nielsen, Legal Counsel for the California Nurses Association; Judge Christopher Larsen, ALJ; Prof. David Tanner, Kremen School of Education at California State University, Fresno; and Mark Keppler, Executive Director of the Maddy Institute.
