J. Reuben Clark Law Society Membership

Welcome to the Dallas - Fort Worth Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society! In our attempt to improve our chapter each year, we are excited to announce some updates and additions to our memership resources. Effective immediately, we will be migrating our membership list over to the J. Reuben Clark Law Society website hosted by BYU. The following are some of the benefits you will receive as a result of this migration:

  • Subscription to Clark Memorandum - a magazine published by the JRCLS each spring and fall
  • Professional Thoughts - a weekly spiritual thought e-mail
  • JRCLS Announcements - periodic email announcements relating to JRCLS lunches, firesides, symposiums, CLE credit, service opportunities, etc.
  • Access to BYU's Legal Job Bank - you will be updated with periodic e-mails, or you can search the database online (you may opt out of these Job Bank e-mails)
  • Inclusion in the JRCLS international membership directory - published every two years (you may opt out of inclusion in the directories)
  • This migration, once complete, will also allow you to update your JRCLS information online, and to pay your membership dues and luncheon costs with a credit/debit card via our website. We are working with BYU to have our new website and this functionality abaliable in February as soon as possible. While the JRCLS membership directory is password protected, we realize that some of you may not want your information hosted by BYU or made available to other members. If that is the case, please notify me and we will remove your information. Please understand, however, that by doing so, you will no longer receive the benefits listed above.

I look forward to another great year with you and the opportunity to get to know each of you a little better as we work towards the goals of our mission statement - to bring strength to the law through personal religious conviction and to promote fairness and virtue founded on the rule of law through public service and professional excellence.

    Sincerely,

    Gordon T. Foote II
