Save the Date: JRCLS Annual Fireside January 2015
The JRCLS Annual Fireside will take place on and will feature Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett, Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, as the speaker. The fireside will take place live in the Little Theater of the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah at with a reception following at Chapter leaders around the world should plan now to hold local events. The broadcast will be available through the LDS Church satellite system at Mountain Time.

JRCLS Membership Drive
Beginning we will be having a J. Reuben Clark Law Society membership drive with the goal of increasing our membership by ten percent in ten weeks. Start thinking now about who you know in your area (or in other parts of the world) who would benefit from membership in the Law Society. The Law Society "affirm[s] the strength brought to the law by a lawyer's personal religious conviction[, and] strive[s] through public service and professional excellence to promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of law." We welcome lawyers and law students of all faiths to join.
Fellowship Opportunity: Center for Women, Faith & Leadership
The Center for Women, Faith & Leadership (CWFL) is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 CWFL Fellowship Program, an innovative two year fellowship that offers women of faith, who themselves identify as leaders, the opportunity to increase their capacity and build upon their leadership skills in order to more fully impact global affairs, peace-building and conflict resolution. Through the program, Fellows will learn from one another, and from a network of experts, in order to enhance their leadership, cross-cultural communication, and negotiation skills, while leveraging their expertise and networks in order to influence and educate multiple audiences and stakeholders. Applications are due by December 20, 2014, and fellows will be notified by January 30, 2015 if they are admitted into the program. The application is available here.
2015 Religious Freedom Conferences
The BYU International Center for Law and Religion Studies (ICLRS) is hosting its yearly Religious Freedom Annual Review at the BYU Conference Center in Provo, UT July 6-8, 2015.
