Build and Extend Membership Drive Continues

Beginning in late January, the Law Society commenced its historic Build and Extend membership campaign, with the goal of growing the Law Society by 10% within the 10-week period ending April 3, 2015. In the process of this effort, we likewise hope to introduce many more attorneys and law students to the mission of the Law Society, and the blessings and fellowship associated with membership.

All over the world, chapter leaders are working to implement the Build and Extend campaign at the local level--strengthening chapter bases and expanding our reach one community at a time.  With just a few short weeks left in this campaign, Law Society leaders invite you participate in the Build and Extend campaign by inviting other LDS (and other like minded) attorneys and law students to sign up at JRCLS.org (see the "Join Now" link on the upper right hand corner of the home page).

We encourage you to take a minute--right now--to think of a friend who would benefit from Law Society membership and to extend that invitation today!  Thank you for your support.

Inspirational Thought

The odyssey to happiness lies in the dimension of the heart. Such a journey is made on stepping-stones of selflessness, wisdom, contentment, and faith. The enemies of progress and fulfillment are such things as self-doubt, a poor self-image, self-pity, bitterness, and despair. By substituting simple faith and humility for these enemies, we can move rapidly in our search for happiness.

—President James E. Faust
