Submit Entries for "Religious Freedom in 30 Seconds" Contest

Do you wonder how you can help promote and defend religious freedom?  Here's an easy way: Participate in the J. Reuben Clark Law Society Religious Freedom Committee's Religious Liberty in 30 Seconds contest.  This contest is for anyone who has a short message about religious liberty.  More importantly, by participating, you will help build a library of brief but powerful messages promoting religious freedom which will be shared with others.  The contest runs between now and November 30.  Small cash prizes will be awarded to winners.  Full rules and contest information is available here, and a short video about the contest is available here.  For more information about religious freedom visit the JRCLS www.freedom-of-religion.org website.

Inspirational Thought

"In order to be guided in life's journey and have the constant companionship in the Holy Ghost, we must have a "hearing ear" and a "seeing eye," both directed upward.  We must act on the direction we receive.  We must look up and step up.  And as we do, I know we will cheer up, for God wants us to be happy.  We are Heavenly Father's children.  He wants to be a part of our lives, to bless us, and to help us.  He will heal our wounds, dry our tears, and help us along our path to return to His presence.  As we look to Him, He will lead us."

—Elder Carl B. Cook, It Is Better to Look Up
(Oct. 2011 LDS General Conference)
