This year's event will also include two consecutive panels held prior to the award dinner: “The Economic Impact of Religious Liberty” and “Promoting Religious Liberty Within Your Sphere of Influence.” The panels are open to the public and free of charge.
"A Season of Giving" Professional Clothing Drive"
The Women in Law Committee is sponsoring a season of service by promoting a worldwide JRCLS professional clothing drive to be held during the months of October and November. Chapters are encouraged to collect professional clothing donations in these months for distribution to men and women who may be entering or re-entering the workforce. Look for forthcoming emails detailing ideas on ways to organize your clothing drive and also how to facilitate distribution of the donations. We look forward to making a significant improvement to the working wardrobes of people around the world!
BYU Football Tailgating & Networking
Home Games (Provo, UT)
“Prayer is essential to developing faith. When the Lord comes again, will He find a people who know how to pray in faith and who are prepared to receive salvation? ‘For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ We are children of a loving Heavenly Father, and we may enjoy personal communion with Him when we pray ‘with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ’ and then act in accordance with the answers we receive by the promptings of the Holy Ghost. In faith we pray, we listen, and we obey, that we might learn to become one with the Father and the Son.”
—Sister Carol F. McConkie, The Soul’s Sincere Desire,
