Opportunity to Teach Law Students in Eastern Europe

The Leavitt Institute for International Development extends a teaching opportunity to JRCLS members.  Judges and lawyers are invited to teach rule of law for two weeks at universities in Moldova, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine.  More information on the institute is found at www.leavittinstitute.org.  Those interested in teaching and/or learning more details, please contact fellow Law Society member Jordan Teuscher at j.teuscher@leavittinstitute.org for more information.

Inspirational Thought

"Saints of God can be edified by nothing but the Spirit of God.  We have attained to an elevation so high above the ordinary walks of life that nothing but the revelations of heaven would edify the Saints, their aspirations being so much higher.  I was pleased with a remark . . . made by a sister saying it is uphill business.  It is uphill, and if you continue you will attain to something much higher than those who go downhill.  How much more satisfying to you it will be if we can look back upon our preceding years, having done what God required of us to do."

—Eliza R. Snow, An Elevation So High Above the Ordinary (Oct. 1872)
