JRCLS Annual Fireside

The 2013 JRCLS Annual Fireside will take place on January 25, 2013 and will be broadcast from Salt Lake City.  Elder Larry Echo Hawk, former assistant secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs, BYU law professor and attorney general of Idaho, now a member of the Quorum of the Seventy, will be the speaker.  We encourage local chapters to begin planning events to watch the fireside together.

Inspirational Thought

Disagreement is critical to the well-being of our nation.  But we must carry on our arguments with the realization that those with whom we disagree are not our enemies; rather, they are our colleagues in a great enterprise.  When we respect each other enough to respond carefully to argument, we are filling roles necessary in a republic.
