Women in Law Regional Conference in D.C.

The Washington D.C.-area Regional Conference drew a crowd of over 70 attorneys, law students, and pre-law students who came to hear speakers and panels discuss the conference theme, "Law and Leadership."  The conference featured Mary Hoagland, Executive Director of the Law Society, and Doug Bush, Immediate Past Chair of the Law Society, as speakers, along with numerous panelists.  The conference was planned by an all-female committee with support from the Women in the Law Committee and the D.C. Chapter.  Panel topics included leadership in religious liberty, ways to use a law degree beyond the traditional practice of law, conducting an effective job search, work-life balance, and negotiations.  Stay tuned for more details about the conference in an upcoming JRCLS Newsletter article.
