Law Students: Stay in Touch with JRCLS Over the Summer and After Graduation!
If you are a law student moving to a different city for a summer internship or graduating, be sure to get involved with JRCLS in your new town! Graduating 3L's, don't wait until you are busy with finals and bar review to join the attorney chapter of JRCLS. Information on how to change your membership is available at: http://www.jrcls.org/membership/application.php. 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls can all look at the chapter pages for various local chapters by visiting: http://www.jrcls.org/chapters/chapterslist.php.
It is never too early to meet attorneys in your area. Networking and mentoring opportunities are available if you reach out to local attorney chapter leadership. Remember, when you graduate you will need to fill out the membership application for JRCLS generally as well as join your local attorney chapter. Many local attorney chapters will allow you to begin receiving e-mails when you are still a student. Don't wait to get involved!
