JRCLS Religious Freedom Discussion Series
Please join us for a discussion of Islam and Human Rights: Europe and Beyond. This is the second presentation in our Religious Freedom Discussion Series--a bi-monthly forum led by globally recognized religious freedom experts and sponsored by the International Center for Law and Religion Studies and the Community Service and Outreach Committee of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. For those of you who calendared dates from our first announcement, please note that the date of this second session has been changed from May 3rd to May 4th.
Dates, times and speakers for this and the remaining sessions are outlined in the enclosed flyer, and we urge you to add these to your calendar now.
We are honored to have Dr. David Kirkham, Senior Fellow and Regional Advisor for the European Union and Council of Europe, as our next speaker. He will present on the timely topic of Islam and implications for religious freedom flowing from recent cases in the European Court of Human Rights. The session will be Wednesday, May 4th, at 12:00 noon Mountain Standard Time. You may attend in person at the Law School or you can attend online.
