2015 Annual Conference

The 2015 Annual Conference was held Feb 12-14, 2015 at the Arizona State University; 2016 Annual Conference to be held in San Diego California.

An Evening With President Kevin J. Worthen

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is joining with the BYU Alumni Association and the BYU Management Society to sponsor “An Evening With President Kevin J. Worthen” in Loomis California on Friday, September 26, 2014. We are so pleased that the former Dean of the J. Reuben Clark Law School has been asked to serve as the new President of Brigham Young University.


Kevin J. Worthen made President of Brigham Young University

Kevin J Worthen began serving as the 13th president of Brigham Young University on May 1, 2014. He previously served as BYU's advancement vice president and as dean of its J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was the Hugh W. Colton Professor of Law.


BYU Education Week
CLE Program


The BYU Education Week Continuing Legal Education Program will be held in Provo, Utah, on August 19 - 22, 2014. This year's program will include presentations on religious liberty issues, trial practice and litigation ethics, adoption, family, and immigration law, legal issues addressed by Oliver Cowdery, and more. For less than $100.00, attorneys can earn up to 20 CLE credits over the four day program while enjoying the inspirational and information classes offered through both the CLE program and the other Education Week courses.


JRCLS Asia Pacific Conference

The annual Asia Pacific Conference will take place in Auckland, New Zealand Friday, June 6, 2014 - Sunday, June 8, 2014. The conference theme addresses "leavening the whole--how lawyers of religious conviction can lift the profession, the community, the church and the family." Featured presenters include Paul Rishworth, Professor of Law and Former Dean of the Auckland Law School; Judge Jonathan Moses; Pamela Jefferies, Fellow of the NZ Institute of Directors and former NZ Chief Human Rights Commissioner; and Jeremiah Morgan, International Chair of the Law Society.

Women in Law Regional Conference in D.C.

The JRCLS Regional Conference in Washington D.C. was held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 and drew a crowd of over 70 attorneys, law students, and pre-law students.
