Ms. JD is a website dedicated to fostering dialogue about women in the law.  A  student-advisory board, representing law schools nationwide, founded the forum and continues its operation.   Website content contributors promote women in law schools and the legal profession.   Postings analyzing women in the law offer opportunities for dialogue and networking.

4. The Project for Attorney Retention

The Project for Attorney Retention (PAR) is associated with the University of California Hastings College of Law.  It is an initiative to improve both recruitment and retention of talented attorneys in the work place by promoting Balanced Hour Policies on the job.  These alternative work schedules encourage all attorneys to balance their work and personal life in ways to achieve higher job satisfaction.

5. National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL)

NAWL is an ABA affiliate that operates independently to promote women in the law.  It boasts membership by some of this country’s earliest prominent female attorneys.  It also publishes the Women Lawyers Journal.
6. Women Lawyers of Utah

For over 25 years, Women Lawyers of Utah has provided opportunities for women lawyers to further their careers and the causes of Utah women in general.  It seeks to educate and to inform Utah’s attorneys regarding women’s needs in the justice system and to encourage a network of female attorneys within the state.
